LAND SURVEYING

TOPOGRAPHICAL SURVEYS

A Topographical Survey, sometimes referred to as a Land Survey, is a process undertaken to produce a detailed plan of the natural and man-made features of an area.

We can present the information in a number of formats from a simple paper plan to a digital model, depending on requirements. The most common format is digital data which is also plotted as a drawing.

A thorough initial survey will lessen the possibility of making later mistakes and potentially save you money in the long term.

DRONE SURVEYS

Drone Surveys have particular advantages in surveying areas that are difficult or dangerous to reach, or a sensitive areas, such as land slips, roofs, quarries or mines.

The survey can be associated with Building Surveys to provide details of areas that are difficult to view or alternatively flown for image collection of sites.

Operatives are fully compliant with the requirements of the Civil Aviation Authority Regulations for the operation of small unmanned aircraft.

SITE ENGINEERING

Our experienced geotechnical engineers provide specialist advice for all groundwork operations, together with setting out and installation of levels.

At EAP we are mindful that the reliability of the design depends on the project being built in the correct position, therefore our setting out service is carried out with meticulous attention to detail, and laser precision.

During construction stage, when necessary, monitoring of buildings and surfaces is available, also, as-built drawings can be provided.

STRUCTURAL MONITORING FOR BUILDINGS

Monitoring schemes can be installed for a number of reasons, whether it be during the construction process to ensure site safety, or during the life cycle of the building to identify structural failure.

Over many years we have carried out the monitoring of buildings to determine progressive movement that is associated with foundation failure. Our experienced geotechnical engineers provide a comprehensive appraisal and remedial scheme.
